At first we were massively sceptical about paying others to move home. However after speaking to friends who recommended Pro-Porters we thought we would get a quote from them and others just to see. Their quote was cheaper than expected, very competitive and they were able to give absolute certainty by coming to the property to give a free, no obligation quote. This was massively reassuring as we thought we would get stung with 'extras' for things that had not been considered. Sadly our completion day was delayed, however this was rearranged with Pro-Porters without stress or any fuss. On the day of the move Guy and Ade arrived promptly and set to work. Even the offer of a coffee and a bacon sandwich did not distract them!!! We can genuinely say we have never seen two people be so committed or hard-working. They both worked tirelessly until we were fully moved into our new property. Nothing was too much, and they clearly went above and beyond to ensure the day was incredibly stress-free and easy. I think the biggest compliment is my better-half who had isolated a number of boxes 'to be removed by us' due to the sentimental value of the items. After seeing Guy & Ade work, she was more than happy asking them to move these additional and delicate items. Again this was no trouble and they took additional measures to ensure nothing was damaged. As a further compliment, our vendors had moved all their belongings into storage. After seeing Pro-Porters moving our items, and the care and work-ethic with which they operated, they have asked Pro-Porters to undertake their removal into their new home. Pro Porters really are superb and I would have absolutely no qualms in recommending them to anyone. They made one of the most stressful aspects of moving an absolute doddle. Really professional and helpful. The guys were very efficient and were careful with all our belongings. Everything was packed and labelled well.
